The Lipa Cave is located in the village of Lipa Dobrska, about 5 km from the center of Cetinje. It is a protected natural asset and the first and only cave in Montenegro that has been valorized and open for visits. The existence of the Lipska Cave was known even before Njegoš’s time, and expeditions were organized even then.

A number of renowned explorers from the 19th century left records about the Lipska Cave and the wealth of its various decorations. Research, also, continues today. This tourist attraction is the right choice for all those who want to make a short trip to explore the nature, away from the city crowd.
